The Author was the scientific coordinator of the research agreement between the SIMN (now ISPRA) and the University of Rome III. Several results achieved during that research were reported in the Italian Wave Atlas.
The Author also published several technical papers on the subject as well as on related topics as the wave directional spectrum estimation (in Italian), the frequency wave spectrum fitting, the cross-sea states parametric identification, and the ARMA modeling of wave height time series.
